1579-1589 Fanshawe Park Road East

This is almost directly across the street from the development at 1454 Fanshawe Park Rd E : https://london.ca/business-development/p...planning-applications/1579-1589-fanshawe

Quote:
What is Proposed?
Zoning amendments to allow a:
• 6-storey, 60-unit residential apartment building
• 4-storey, 176-unit cluster stacked townhouse dwellings
• 236 residential units total (151 units per hectare)
• 165 vehicle parking spaces total (0.7 spaces per unit)
• Retention of the existing heritage building for the
continuation of commercial office uses

This used to be the location of a small golf course. Interestingly they’re retaining the ABA compass building as heritage.

Nice infill proposal. Hopefully gets approved and built.

Wonder who the numbered company is? Hopefully a real builder and not some land speculator.

Ah yes, the good old Cedarbrook Gardens par 3 golf course. I used to love playing there the first year I took up golf a little over 25 years ago. Took a putter and a pitching wedge and a pocket full of balls. Longest hole was 100 yards, most were 50-70. Greens all seemed to be on a crown. Yeah, will be interesting to see what actually happens here.
