It's good to see that everyone is on board with at least the idea of a mid point station there,/.... and also that from a feasibility and technical standpoint, it's doable.
The big question now of course would be if it were to go ahead, who would foot a significant portion of the bill.
When the project was first proposed, the developer sounded quite enthusiastic about the prospect of a station there.
But that was before they had had discussions with the city (now we know where they stand), and it was also before Anthem came on board, and they might feel differently about paying for part of the cost of a station on top of the cost of the development. (or not (?)).
Personally I feel between Swanguard stadium, Central Park - including the northern portion that's used for concerts and events like the Canada Day fireworks spectacle, and these proposed developments in the vicinity aside from just this one, ....more than justify the argument for a station at that location and I hope it's something that gets strongly considered.
