Council voted to deny the zoning changes.

According to the staff report, the biggest reason is that this proposed development is too intense for the area. Centre Street is classified as a "Neighbourhood Street", and the max. height for these streets in the "Neighbourhood Place Type" is 3 stories, as per The London Plan.

This goes to the planning committee on May 26th and then to full council on June 2nd.
