Yes, that was funny. It was wrong to start with and now it is even.. wrong.. er?

A lot of Quebec politicians going fairly far back remind me of Trumpian populism. They often adopt positions to stir up emotions, not because the policy is good, and they deliberately try to make Canada worse to try to justify separatism. Alberta politics have now veered in this direction, and I think an element of it was jealousy of the perceived squeaky-wheel dynamic more than actual desire to run a separate landlocked country based on sunsetting commodities.
