Crane is now down and moved to The Canal in Dartmouth.

Here are some new renderings:

They are all from the SoQu Residences Google Maps Link

I just looked back through the entire thread, but couldn’t find any reference to the meaning of the name, “SOQU”. Is it an abbreviation for South Quinpool, or ???

Any ideas? These things are important to me for some reason…

Building looks decent. I see ALL utilities are submetered, I supposed that is the trend now.

Hope they got approval in writing from someone at HRM. I'd hate to see them having to saw off two completed floors like the poor sap who built on Wyse Rd in Dartmouth is supposed to do.

Do you have new information on that one? Last we discussed there was legal action in the works to determine who did/said what and who is in the right/wrong. Not sure that it would be appropriate to project that on this building if we don’t have new information.

No new info. But when I saw Jackson's reference to them adding a couple of floors in response to the HAF bribery by the Feds, it struck me that was the same thing that led to the Dartmouth debacle.

I see. Hopefully they got full approval before proceeding, unlike the Dartmouth case.

I'd be very surprised if Dexel didn't have everything in order.
