There's another crane being constructed next to Ilume at Scottsdale and the 101. Unsure which site this is, doesn't seem to be at the One Scottsdale site - more of those condos? Rough position: https://maps.app.goo.gl/U8mY91xen2dosZvP8

No it's not that, Atavia townhomes are under construction next to the Portico condos by the same developer.

The tower crane is for the small site just South of Portico. Will be another 5-story wrap apartment complex.

Can't believe this used to be PV Mall's Sears. Apartments on the north side also coming along but not pictured. This gives me hope for Metrocenter and Fiesta Mall with the fall of the mall and rise of the "urban village" redevelopments.

I'm really impressed with this whole development - a lot of nice places to eat at too. Best way to work with failed malls IMO. Hopefully they all turn out as nice.

Good news, Ikonic Scottsdale, the 14-story tower at the SW Corner of Bell and Scottsdale road has new construction fencing up as of yesterday, with Gilbane and Gensler signage and Renderings of the new tower hanging on the fence.

Confirmed with someone at Gilbane that's working on another project with me that indeed this is moving forward and construction should be starting soon!

Exciting! Love the design:

I wonder if momentum at the new Optima helped spur construction...

Ikonic Northeast Phoenix will fit in well across the street from Scottsdale.

Glad to see it moving - I was getting concerned they'd put some fast food on that corner after they removed the fencing, etc. The new rendering looks like it dropped a couple floors to 12 - but maybe it's not accurate? I thought this would be taller than the spire...

It's still 14, I snapped a terrible photo (or would post) and compared, it's the same, although the facade does look a little darker but that could just be the fence graphic.

This crane was never completed - and ultimately relocated on the site further south. They completed the build today - so now that intersection looks a bit more impressive with two decent sized cranes up and the work on the Cards Practice facility starting up. Will we see more related to that project?
