I remain perplexed that there is no direct flight from YQB to YQM. There are probably about 75,000 francophones in southeastern NB, and Moncton is the Acadian capital for the Maritimes. There should be lots of cultural connections there, and, Laval and UdeM are both important universities. Lots of potential for tourism traffic as well. I would really enjoy being able to take a weekend jaunt to Vieux Quebec and stay at the Chateau Frontenac without the hassle of the drive. |
Considering no one's be able to figure out how to operate YQB-YHZ, I'm not surprised YQB-YQM isn't flown at present. As I recall in the 90s AC via Air Nova had a daily DH1 that did YQB-YQM-YHZ. Heck even YQB-YOW with over 400,000 francophones in the NCR currently only has 1 flight a day to YQB.
