Here's a "behind-the-scenes" video from ClearLED (the makers of the transparent glass displays that are used on the NAC) via Twitter: https://twitter.com/ClearLED/status/948745227262574592

The NAC's addition is amazing. I was afraid the lantern's LEDs would burn out and start looking bad in the medium term, possibly even be shut off, but it's holding up quite well and offers a nice beacon on Elgin and down Queen. They've really been taking full advantage of the feature.

I mentioned this on the Convention Centre thread, but the NAC has become one of the City's great third spaces. Every time I walk in, the addition is filled with people hanging out, working, reading, studying. Just having a coffee shop probably helps, but it's more than just that.

Huge kudos to the team at the NAC at the time for pulling this off. Overall wasn't a fan of Harper, but this is one great Harper era project.
