Where is the operations office will be at? Is that near 24th St?

What about administrative office is? Are they demolished the old building that they used to be. It was on the ramp near T3 parking garage and near old security secure entrance gate is. This is where the drivers who delivered the items to the concourse or catering trucks, too. So now, it's gone already.

Operations and Police both move to be nearly adjacent to the current Aviation Department Offices (they'll take over the lot where the facilities building is, while the lot has been pretty gone since the taxiway excavation started. Facilities is moving to the NW corner of the airport, and I believe facilities' move to their new complex is the first project out of the gate for all these moves.

The Annex, the admin offices you mentioned, had been fairly empty since the T3 Modernization. The original admin staff moved to the department offices to the west once those were built (as well as the staff from the mezzanine offices). I believe between the T3 renovation up until it was demolished for the new gates, Design and Construction Services was using it, but they've all consolidated now over in the old rental car offices near 24th Street in the construction trailer yard.

Hi all,

Here's my posts from other forums. I went to PHX Sky Harbor International Airport yesterday. I have to check it out. This is T3 Concourse 2 construction project. It's really coming along nicely! Schedule to be completed in 2027.

You're so welcome. I'll keep an eye out if I see any new construction project. Then I'll post it more pictures for next month or so.

From airliners.net thread “American Airlines Network - 2026”

https://www.dallasnews.com/business/airl...ZjMtZDdmYTQ2NWJmODc4&sharecount=MQ%3D%3D

Some interesting pieces in this interview that Isom gave to the Dallas Morning News:
  • Mentions recent investments in DFW, MIA and hints that there will be developments with PHX.
  • Envisions 1,100 departures at DFW by 2030.
  • Wants to regain ground in LAX.
  • Hints at international growth out of DFW.
  • Mentions CLT and the A321XLR

Wonder what could be in store for PHX…

I haven't vetted any of this but it looks to be a nice video about our local "sleeper" airport AZA and some big moves in the air cargo space.

Very cool video. I also have no real independent knowledge about the topics he covers either, but nothing conflicted with my experience. There's tons of industrial/warehouses going up around the airport. That LG battery plant out there that he references near the end is going to be huge. And I mentioned on here that I rode that Starlux flight through Taipei on the way back from Japan. The knock-on effects from TSMC are crazy.

Very interesting video. The fact that TSMC and Mesa Gateway are almost 50 miles apart means ADOT needs to get busy planning on increased traffic since cargo will need to be moved by truck.

It's not obvious to me that existing infrastructure is incomplete. The 101 to 202 provides a wide, smooth route. And traffic patterns are predictable so they can avoid peak periods.

Curious has anyone else seen comments about a potentially planned PHX-HND flight on JAL. I’ve seen it mentioned in numerous posts on airliners.net and social media posts by PHX ramp employees?

I've heard the same rumors starting around the time service to TPE started being seriously discussed.

The most detail I've heard, admittedly second or third hand, was that delivery of new aircraft to JAL was increasingly delayed, and they required the additional aircraft to fit the PHX - NHD flight into their operations.

I don’t see anything happening until 2027 at the earliest. JAL will start taking the A350-900 deliveries to help expand their long haul capabilities but they are also retiring their 777-300ER so I’m not sure how quickly that will provide slack in the fleet.
