I don't think we ever found the Los Palmos Motel. The nearest I found was the Los Palmos Inn at 4278 Westlan Avenue in Fresno, but I got that address from
a matchbook and couldn't find any pictures.
What I did find was an almost identical Sno-Breze air conditioner atop Phil's Charcoal Broiler in Redlands. This photo is dated 1938, so ties in with the image above. This one seems to be long gone.
