415 Maclaren was red brick once. Didn't mind it when it was red brick. A lot of 70s towers in Ottawa that were bare concrete or red brick have been painted charcoal, all now deserving to be on this thread.
I don't mind the 90 Sparks facade on Sparks. The problem is the Metcalfe and Queen faces.
Here's the corner of Sparks and Metcalfe. Queen is all that metal cladding with horizontal window stripes.

The building was actually before the 80s renovation. A mid-century beauty.
