I find it an oddly appealing design. Is it ~International Style?

Kind of like this, before the reclad.

Whenever I drive past this now I'm reminded somewhat of the AT&T Long Lines building on Thomas St in Manhattan. The windows seem very minimal.

There are only 4 units per floor with each unit having one face with minimal windows as you put it, and one face with wall to wall balcony. The balconies are arranged such that they don't appear on the eastern face at all to maximize water views.

The brand new AOPS looks like shit compared to the French vessel. Has the RCN not heard of paint?

I grabbed a few pics of it being dismantled. Will try and get them uploaded soon.

^Beat you to it this time around.

On another note I was stuck in one of the infamous MacDonald Bridge traffic jams this week. While I was contemplating my life choices, and regretting not buying a new bicycle again this year, I saw a flatbed go by hauling tower cranes pieces. This was on Wyse Road and the sections were grey so they couldn't of been from this development or any nearby. I'm wondering where they came from or were going and why they were on Wyse Road. They couldn't of been coming off of MacDonald Bridge.

Looks like they were the components from the mobile crane that took down the tower crane just a guest though.

This afternoon I was crossing the Macdonald while the sun was low in the sky, acting as a spotlight of sorts on this building. Now that windows are going in and some of the exterior trim (or at least insulation) is on the exterior, it looks quite impressive. As you head towards Dartmouth, it is almost (but not quite exactly) framed by the Dartmouth tower of the bridge.

I didn't even make the comment, and I'm running as well. LOL

If I had and could use such a velocipede that would give the best angle, and since it is always empty, it wouldn't inconvenience anyone either. But car traffic was stop-and-crawl, so I still got a very good look.

Well done!

Actually if anyone is walking or biking over the bridge, a pic would be appreciated, as it’s not a route that I ever take these days. I’d like to see the view, though.

While I don't love it, I also don't dislike it...
