Good work, that tower is terrible though. I preferred the parking garage.

Just notice Toronto 3D layer was recently update in Google Maps/Earth, looks like Spring 2025.
It's probably been 4 years since the last update. I was hoping for a summer 2006 update since both Sky Tower and 1 Bloor would be topped off.

Thanks for the info. Not just Toronto. A lot of Ontario.

I let AI take a stab at a mosque conversion on the former church at King’s Square West in Saint John, NB…

I asked it to “turn this church into an Art Deco mosque” … and I quite like the results!

Before:

After:

The roof style would probably have to remain more similar to the current church roof, but I think a conversion on this building could be done, at least if the bones of the building are solid.

Yeah that's a totally different building really. The windows are a different size and shape and there's different number of them. The roof is different, the towers are different sizes and massing. I'm not a structural engineer but I'd be surprised if it wouldn't be a lot easier as a tear down and replace.

Don't ask people not to debate a topic. Just stop making debatable assertions. Problem solved.

Well that’s an option too haha. I think a retrofitting of the current building could be done tastefully too, but I didn’t try very hard messing around with the prompts on ChatGPT

Saint John’s current main mosque looks a bit like a car war or auto mechanics shop.
