Any link to a rendering? Hoping the flatiron look is retained.

Haven't seen one, but can't imagine why it would have to change for the sake of two floors.

Is the conservative 2-floor bump request due to the structural limits of the building as currently designed? i.e.would requesting the full 40, or something close to it, create the need for a more comprehensive (and presumably costly in terms of time, if not money) redesign of the building?

They're still limited to a FAR of 10 (maybe even 8) for the build, and IIRC the site is quite small. I think that's the limiting factor?

That was my supposition.

I was looking at the HAF map last night and that property (114 Wyse) is Cen-2 40 story but only a FAR of 6. If you check the HRM property map, it's a very small plot. I'm not sure if they are combing it with 112 Wyse, but even so it's small enough that FAR 6 wouldn't get you very much height unless the build was super-slender.

Yeah, hard to imagine Manhattan-style "tall and skinny" buildings coming to Dartmouth.

This project is going forward to HECC for approval of two extra floors next week.

HECC has approved the addition of two storeys.

It would be really nice to see this one built.

Interesting looking building.

(my problem with image links was due to Imgur changing how it serves up the url; this board requires a full file name with the .jpg suffix to display an image, and Imgur has for some reason stopped delivering that in most instances)

I see they haven't updated the 3d perspective rendering yet, so add 3 floors to what is pictured.

Building permit was just submitted for this development at 22 FLOORS - 178 UNITS. The "Wyse Olde" forest of cranes will continue to expand.

New here, could use some help on how to view/search submitted development applications, can't seem to figure it out on the city website.

It is just one site and numbered as 114 Wyse, It will be interesting to see how they access the lot without entering onto the 22 acres of Dartmouth Common, aka 110 Wyse, - the remaining area of the Common includes the bus terminal, the Sportsplex and the parking lot as well as Dartmouth High

In the amendment to the DA, they show the entrance to the parking garage off of Nantucket, just up from the intersection. Hopefully it's right in, right out only.

It's going to be a mess around there when all these buildings are occupied. Anyone have a rough idea of how many units there'll be added to Wyse Road and surrounding streets this decade?

I was referring to access during demolition and construction.
