So it sounds like it was a 'lack of ambition and vision' thing on Concord's part more than anything.

They were happy to contribute the bare minimum, take their brownie points (and any bonus density) and then hand it off to the city.

And the city for their part,.......gift horse,.....mouth....all that.....

But look on the bright side if you're a Brentwooder,.....

You're getting a brand spanking new Community center next door at Grosvenor's Brentwood Block, whenever that completes.
Meanwhile Metrotowners have to make do with the increasingly aging (....and increasingly over-crowding...) Bonsor Rec center, that's badly in need of a major refurbishment/upgrade.

But yeah, .....you're right.
It would have been nice if they had done something 'more' to the park to make it more of a draw and have some feature or facility you could have there for an activity to make it worth going there for, even from farther out.
