I think people are finally clueing in to some of the "hidden gems" that we've installed along the river in recent years.

One of the recent nice days we had, I walked from downtown Hull to Pingashimo and the Chaudiere access points, which were full of people taking in the sight of the raging high water - the most people I've seen there at one time ever. From there I scooched up to cross the Commanda Bridge, which was actually almost crowded with cyclists, joggers, and even a unicyclist. On the Quebec site, even though the beach itself is underwater, Parc Moussette was full of humans. Gatineau might want to think about bumping the amenities there up another level. And then I crossed back on the Champlain Bridge and finished at Westboro which was a zoo, in April.

Things is different now.
