The proposal would be 14 stories tall. Hoping to see the design get a bit better with further refinement... modern hospitals are rarely beautiful but this doesn't exactly leave me feeling inspired.

Nice to see a more modern state of the art hospital coming soon to the Geary location. The current medical center there is pretty old and outdated. Kaiser in general doesn't seem to have the best architecture when it comes to its medical centers ie Kaiser Oakland, although I guess the one in Mission Bay isn't
too bad. This design isn't the greatest either and the only compliment I can really give it is at least it's an interesting shape.
But more importantly, hospitals do quite well at activating the surrounding area with activity from its employees given remote work opportunities are kept to a minimum, as well as patients constantly coming in and out. And obviously they are also a vital resource for the community. And with it being 14 stories tall hopefully it creates a ripple effect all along Geary where people aren't so afraid of building 10-20 story buildings all along this corridor stretching out to the Outer Richmond, and continues the momentum for that Geary-19th Ave Subway we've been waiting so long for.
