The only forumers I have attached a voice to that I haven’t heard in real life are ex posters whom I don’t wish to name. One I could only read in Squidward’s voice and the other became a strange hybrid franco-Dwight Schrute.

I have met MolsonExport (22 years ago?), but I forget his voice. But I am sure it was similar to Cap'n Kirk.

I think it was this place, in January 2004

That. Would be. The Place. and. The. Year.

But I. Don't speak. In staccato.

Now if only, as you read through each post, that assigned poster's voice, as well as intended emotions comes through whichever speaker you are using! 99% of the time, I'm on my home PC when I come on here. This PC has studio monitors hooked up to it, and It would sound a little chaotic, yet hilarious as I scroll through, depending on my scrolling speed.

Hey now, my arms are not dangling like dead meat like Joel. Not yet, anyway.

Is that dude still alive? Or is his brain being kept in cold stasis by the Alarmforce System (still listed on the TSX)?

Without watching the video I can hear “This is Joel Matlin. President of Alarm Force!”

Still better than Shawn Jones from Spence Diamonds.

I still switch my car radio to another station whenever I hear a Spence Diamonds commercial. Or off.

I no longer listen to the radio, but on rare occasions where I have to I also turn it off or change the station. The new ads without his direct nasally whine are still so patronizing and awful. He writes them and he might as well just use ai to voice his dumb scripts instead of forcing those poor employees to do it. One of the only good instances where ai could do a kindness to human beings by being tortured in their place.
