South is nice… but so is West. North is definitely the worst, but East can be pretty great.
I have some amazing views of the sunrise from the kitchen window at home, and even some views of the harbour, I can see all the way across uptown to Courtney Bay Breakwater from that kitchen window. At night, the refinery looks like a distant skyline of a city. I can even see a traffic light on what I think is Bayside Drive, which is quite a liminal sight at 2am from the back deck. It’s crazy how far you can see when you have some elevation.
