I live in west (St. Louis) county and these photos make me homesick - I was a homeowner in St. Louis City and University City for over 15 years.

^ PHL10: glad you're enjoying!

^ Centropolis: unfortunately i now live about 800 miles from STL so... it could be worse!

Some found photos of the Skinker-Debalivier neighborhood, adjacent to Forest Park, Washington University, and the Delmar Loop:

St. Louis has some really beautiful neighborhoods. The whole area from the CWE on out to Clayton is some great, comfortable urbanity. It's one of those cities that really rewards visitors who get out of the downtown area. Thanks for sharing these photos.

^ yep, the neighborhoods in the central corridor from the CWE to Clayton are some of the most attractive and pleasantly walkable in the region. the Moorlands in particular is gorgeous. here's an old Moorlands thread from 2009: https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168369

now here are a few shots from the Visitation Park neighborhood—a largely intact near-north-side neighborhood that is adjacent to the CWE and ripe for investment:

i enjoyed this photo by recently retired St. Louis Post Dispatch photographer Robert Cohen. taken outside the Silver Ballroom pinball bar in the Bevo neighborhood (see the landmark Bevo Mill in the background).

and speaking of Bevo, i've always been fond of this shot by St. Louis From Above:
