This is my understanding of this. Red is what they are suggesting, and the green is what already exists. Most traffic would be coming from uptown, so I am struggling to see how the red is an improvement. Unless they think there is a high demand for north to west/west to north cycling???
I really don't see the value in this, not to mention that with the gradient of that hill, it's not a safe or appropriate location for bicycles.
