Hi guys! I thought it might be fun to post some of my drawings here so I can find advice on how to improve them, and to get to know you better, since I have respected so many of you as illustrators for so long. I’ve been around for a while but never really active on the forum.

When I started drawing buildings in early 2014, I had no experience, and so my drawings were of very poor quality. Nevertheless I was very enthusiastic, and by the end of the year produced about 300 drawings. By the end of 2015 I finally figured out how to make drawings in 1:1, and since then the quality has gradually improved, but I now had about 400 of these really poor quality drawings in my diagram. Thus, I have been working to replace all of these drawings with updated versions. Unfortunately it takes a lot longer to make good drawings then bad ones, and I also just don’t have as much time as I did back then, so it will be a slow process. At the moment, about 240 still remain, or about 45 percent of my total diagram. This is the largest project I am working on right now, though I am also working on others.

Here are some of the latest updates I have done: two buildings in Hawaii;

And two buildings in Africa, with two new buildings added. The heights are different due to an error in the database.

Nice to see you again. Your drawings are really good and your improvements are impressive.

I got a lot of drawings I don't like too, but will probably not redraw them if they don't turn up to have the wrong heights.

Haha that’s fair enough, it’s definitely a lot of work. It was a more serious problem back when the default arrangement of an illustrator’s diagram was by height, but now that it is by the date the drawing was added, it is not so obvious.

Thank you (as well as Koops and Indominus Godzilla) so much for your supportive comments! Currently I am trying to draw all of the undrawn buildings in Mississippi, I will make a larger post here when I finish, hopefully that will be soon.
