I looked at their site and there’s nothing available above floor 14. Are those not finished yet?

I think most of those will go to downtown tech and high end workers who want amenities but don't mind roommates. They're not family housing.

For a comparison that $10k/3 bedroom well tops San Francisco's Jasper which is one of the newer buildings in a safer area and $8k/3 bedroom is in line with other units there too.

I never thought I'd see the day Phoenix would even remotely approach, much less exceed San Francisco prices.

Sign me up!

I want the two-bedroom unit for $7,400 a month - RENT! I think I can find 15 roommates.

I looked at the amenities that are available...and they state an elevator! WOW!
How generous!

S*&t! For that price - I want a PRIVATE elevator and a doorman!

For $7,400 a month - you can OWN a beautiful, historical estate home up the street in Palmcroft!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't realize how poor I am!!!

In defense of Siaya the two bedrooms are mostly around 4K,lol. Also they are doing 3 months free and the amenities are actually pretty incredible. I’ve walked around there quite a bit and they also at least have security in a golf cart riding around the complex all the time. It’s definitely my favorite building downtown when you add it all up, the grass, trees, art work, the restaurant space, the size of the apartments. Wish they wouldn’t have just left the “historic building” with broken glass and run down. Hopefully they start restoring it and aren’t expecting whoever rents it to fix it up!

Downtown and all of the metro is poised for a major rent correction Im up in midtown and I am even seeing lower grade apartment buildings sitting 20-30% empty right now. As these huge complexes hit the market they will be forced to bring rents down. Which is good

anythig more than 2k per bed in Phoenix metro is overpriced.

that's actually not bad its 3k per month so 1500 per bed. Plenty reasonable.

Renting should be more than your average monthly mortgage. I bought back in 2018 because i had the down payment and my monthly cost overall would be less than renting a one bedroom the time.

When you rent you have no overhead, no concern for repairs or damages and you have amenities.

We got some news on the old McKinley Club building

It's going to be a nightlife concept. I would've guessed a restaurant but this sounds exciting too.

Saguaro Nights Entertainment Group, a new hospitality company, will open its first concept in downtown Phoenix early next year in a more than 70-year-old building.

The company, which is headed by husband-and-wife duo Cary Prewitt and Melissa Levick, will open Pablo’s on the northwest corner of McKinley Street and First Avenue, in a 9,000-square-foot historic building originally constructed in 1952 as a medical office.

The large historic building will have several bars inside – the Den, Pablo’s Living Room and the Billiards Room. There will also be a courtyard, a lively front patio and a nightclub called Night Tiger. Construction on the project started earlier this month and is expected to be finished in early 2026.
