Proposed 3-story apartment building (mix of lofts and studios) at 2nd St and Roosevelt. This project would go directly north of the other proposed 2-story food court building (Roosevelt Market) at the NEC of same intersection.

The loft building will have ground floor retail and the "studio" building will be built behind the historic property, which is currently home to Sottise.

Pretty crazy how far, in terms of failed proposals, this intersection has come. First, it was True North Studio's Creative House Tower or Knipe Village and also the Federales Taco spot on the hard corner that had neighborhood pushback.

I hope both projects move forward.

Wasn't that supposed ot be a trendy Mexican place on that corner? Were they able to kill it?
