Pôle Stratégique de l’industrie spatiale Telesat [rue Lois] | ??m | ?f | ?

I'm not entirely aware of what this is in terms of where it will be and infrastructure on the ground, but if it's part of the goal of high speed internet for all Canadians, it seems the Ontario Government should be involved now they they killed the Starlink contract. Obviously, the on the ground infra won't be in Ontario, but savings and efficiencies could be found by joining this existing project.

I kind of expect that they will join. Good news for the region. But I wonder who is going to launch our satellites.

We could ship them by sea down to French Guyana in South America and the Europeans could launch them for us!

If we aren't blockaded by the US by then, seems like a good plan.

It doesn't exist yet, and may never, though I wish them luck.

We really need to build our own infrastructure.
