They worked on the Ben's townhouses and a small building on Inglis. I would say both are solid and above average in the city. Zzap has lots of upcoming projects.
I agree with the sentiment of aiming for excellent projects but I wonder to what degree this is a "requirement" that can be added at the planning level or if it is more a feature of the architect/developer ecosystem and economics, with experience being a part of that. A few developers started at the bottom of the food chain, building basic housing, and then moved on to nicer large-scale projects. Other firms always had higher quality but remain at a boutique scale.
