Mark my words - whenever the city does get around to
maybe widening the medians in 2030, whoever is governor at that time will find a way to squash it. They always find a way to get their fingers into places they have no business being.
It would be fun to believe that NYC is capable of disabusing itself of car usage, but everything that has happened in the past 15+ years proves that it isn't.
