The plaza is 6-7k IIRC, but in reality more like 5000 at best.

I just wish they would fix the lights to be perfect on the roof of the arena! Pet peeve.

I wish that they would conceal the steel studs and back of drywall facing 104 Avenue in those tapering windows.

I wish they could finally fill all of the empty CRUs and get that food court in the connect centre open.

Shake Shack, Starbucks, and hell, you want to bring people there, convince Chicken for Lunch to move in there instead of closing.

Anyone know if the CWB tower is still going ahead? There was a big announcement a while back and since then, crickets.

Chicken For Lunch relocating to the Stantec food court is a great idea! However, it's my understanding that Amy is retiring soon.

That's what I heard too. Just wishful thinking.

From what I've heard, it's still moving forward, just more slowly than expected due to the high interest rate environment.

I noticed the TD is now open on the plaza—a spectacular wasted opportunity for what should be prime CRU space for a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, cafe, etc. It joins RBC, Scotia, National and soon CWB in the Bank District.

Sure, that's valid. But a little wine or whisky bar, a coffee shop, even a Starbucks or McDonald's would be better than another bank. I just can't stand when prime real estate that could make a legitimate impact on the liveliness of an area is wasted on what are essentially offices. I felt the same way when that financial place took over THE prime corner lot on Whyte (formerly DQ/Death by Chocolate). Thankfully it looks like that place is no longer there and the space is for lease.

ICE District is still missing CIBC, BOM, ATB and possibly Tangerine.

Oops, did I say that too loud?
