I remember this was posted a little over a year ago when they first applied for rezoning/DP.
It looked a little raw back then, and seems like it's come a long way since then (understandably).

It has a bit of a 'Butterfly' vibe going on about it.

Another 40+ storey tower for the Patterson neighbourhood.
Between this and the two Polygon towers (with Perla currently under construction), Anthem's Nuvo, Bosa's Central Park House and the tower in between them ( I forget the name but it's the one of the infamous "poor door" fame....or infamy), that little corner is going to be dense.

Moreso when the stepped corner building across the street from the Patterson Skytrain station also gets redeveloped.

Those are wraparound balconies on Greenhouse (a lot like Concord Brentwood), so that'll allow floor to ceiling glass behind.

It actually shows the floor to ceiling glass panels in the render too.
Sitting just behind the balcony railing.




I think Concord Metrotown has the same system proposed too.
Seems to be their signature go-to feature nowadays (Concord).


I wonder if it will have a bowling alley as well,... as part of their amenities.
(another one of their characteristic features too, it seems.)

Concord Brentwood too.
Do they have any other kits in the area? Usually they have at least a few other buildings they have owned they’re developing rather than a 1-off tower.

Housing Choices Program

This project is about introducing more types of housing to Burnaby’s neighbourhoods.

The Housing Choices program will consider a range of housing forms that allow more units in residential neighbourhoods such as laneway homes, triplexes, fourplexes, rowhomes and other small-scale housing types. These housing forms are sometimes referred to as the “missing middle” as they are missing, or in short supply, in many North American communities.

They're asking about the various types in phases and have another survey open until the end of August.

recently a few For Sale/Redevelopment signs have gone up next to the Chevron on Lougheed Hwy that is across from Sperling/Burnaby Lake skytrain station, its all behind a large hedge but what you can get a peek of looks like an old townhouse development. Anyone know whats behind the hedge? rental townhomes? or condos?
