Looks like Fraser Mills aka River District 2: Electric Boogaloo is finally going up for first reading (big pdf). 16 towers, 29-49 storeys.

Still have pretty mixed feelings on this one. Tons of new housing and it'll look great from the Port Mann but it's going to be a real headache for transportation. Beedie is offering to subsidize more frequent bus service to Braid Station but it still has to go through that awful New West section of Braid and the rail crossing. It's also another chunk of formerly industrial land gone, and it'll seem pretty incomplete unless even more neighbouring industrial areas get cannibalized for development. And of top all that, you have to question the wisdom of putting this much housing in this location given rising sea levels and the events of last November. I just dunno.
