I don't think so.
I resize pics before uploading to the internet host.

- PS what's going in across from Lansdowne?

Here is what I have so far... it's a piece of land owned by UEM Sunrise Canada (a large Malaysian company) and they plan to build 7 towers. They're the company behing "Quintet", which is a development located across the road from the Olympic Oval.

from richmond's zoning applications document (2016)

The land that it's on is designated as T6, which means 45-meter towers.

I'll see if I can find anything more. For now, here is a news article

I use Imgur. You can change the settings so that everything you upload is resized to your preference.

Use imgur.com to upload them. You'll have to edit them one by one, but it's very quick on imgur. Just put in the new dimensions and save.

EDIT; Didn't see the comment above, it appears there is a way to have a default upload size. I guess you have to have an account, though?

I trust UEM to build something decent along No.3 Road. T6 has the highest density that the latest OCP of Richmond is going for.

UEM has lots of experience in the property development business, particularly in Malaysia.

Mont Kiara neighbourhood (from Skyscrapercity):

Nice to see some office use in downtown Richmond.
That'll definitely make No. 3 Rd. more urban.

My mistake. I wrongly assumed Yuanheng was a new Chinese developer.

Except the word on the street is that UEM Sunrise has either sold or is currently under contract with a developer to sell the site.

Interesting, what is the source of this? The signs have yet to be changed.

I came by some of the developments in Richmond yesterday, Dec. 22.
And this time I used imgur. Thank you for the advice!

River green 2, the 2nd phase of river green, which is the development just west of the oval.

Note the spandrel at the top of the buildings.

Is it normal to have cranes in such a precarious location?

Looking south from the dyke

Future phase? Btw, that forest at the left of the photo is apparently the site of Mr. Brighouse's home (the Brighouse that many places in the city centre are named after)

I don't know who this is, but I'm pretty sure that it's a future phase of river green as well. (perhaps phase 4, as phase 3 is between the oval and phase 1)

-----------------------------
This is the "riva" development, located at Alderbridge Rd. and Cedarbridge Rd.

Future 4-lane road that will connect Gilbert Rd. to Cambie Rd, this is the first part of it.

-------------------------------
River park place phase 1, on the corner of Gilbert and the new River Rd

I remember the City of Richmond councillers voting against this proposed art of Ginseng... but it has been built anyways!
http://www.richmond-news.com/city-hall/councillors-kibosh-ginseng-public-art-display-1.1989189

New Lane behind Rpp1

River park place 2 has begun construction in some form

------------------------------
"Tempo", sandwiched by Alderbridge, Cedarbridge, and Lansdowne.

------------------------------
Now moving to Capstan Rd, the recently announced "Viewstar" development by Yuanheng

I love this - "Council-approved"

Finally, the "capstan", the development built on that orphan block in the middle of Viewstar. It's being built by GBL architects.

The sand is busy compacting.

I know that this was a very long post, but I think that with all of these developments going on (plus many others, such as the Alexandra Rd. community), Richmond should get its own updates thread.

Thank you for the pictures and updates. There is also a cluster of mid-rises from Westminster and Granville between No.3 road and Cooney that are under construction.

Does anybody have some stats on the population of Downtown Richmond and its growth over time? I'm sure it must be pretty impressive.

It will be interesting to see how it compares with Downtown Vancouver and Metrotown.

Thanks for all the great updates!

Disappointed to see that phase 2 of River Green got quite a noticeable cheapening vs. phase 1. Less curtain wall, less stone, more spandrel.

Any news on who it has been sold to and if there are any renderings of the project?
