^ there are on-going discussions about issues such as transit only for portions of King Street (and expanding the street's public realm) and the last render is a sly nod to those discussions... the render's complete pedestrian take-over (tracks but no streetcars) was likely inspired by special event closures such as the film festival (TIFF).

And yes, Benito is a master archivist... I once joked that Sam Mizrahi had submitted revised plans for the tower to include 2 uninhabited transparent floors at Benito's eye-level to preserve his east views to 1 Bloor East and beyond. I think if anyone strings together the eventual thousands of Benito shots... you'd have a seamless The One film... with very few jump-cuts. ;-)

BTW the tower portion of the big pour which started at 9pm... was complete no later than 8 am today when he posted this shot.

Pinnacle One Yonge Street

A wider look at the site including the location of the next phase of Sugar Wharf.

Right of centre is Phase 1 “Prestige” rising @ 217m, along with Phase 2 excavation for super-tall “SkyTower” @ 312.5m underway immediately to the right of Phase 1. The large blank wall of concrete (Phase 1 podium) will be joined by the Phase 3 podium and tower (264m), which will rise in front of the wall.

The yellow/brown low-rise LCBO buildings left of centre in the pic, will host the next phase of Sugar Wharf, including the tallest of the development which is just a metre shy of super-tall creds @ 299m.
