Korean Company Will Pitch Platform Screen Doors to SEPTA
Basically, TIS, Inc., based in Korea is proposing this idea to SEPTA to install basically glass sliding doors with advertisements on them to improve safety on the platforms. TIS will PAY for the installations, and should all go well, they will keep ownership of the doors/advertisements until they make back their investments from the advertisements (and I assume a nice little profit as well) after which they will turn over the advertisements to SEPTA who can then profit from the advertisements. On top of that, if all goes well, TIS, Inc. would like to headquarter their United States business operations in Philadelphia.
I like it. Sounds like a win win all the way around.
