no problem, as for 50fore, every time I pass its generally after 5pm so no workers out. there is definitely progress happening in the ball field area but for the last month that ive passed, its like they just halted work on the building or at least the side closest to the interstate

as of Friday, they still had some roll-off dumpsters near the dome entrance ramp on Poydras, so id say yes. I do remember a few years ago before they started renovations that they said they were going to remove that main ramp but not sure if thats still on the table

Pretty sure the museum is still conceptual, but that plot is marked as "Temporary Parking" on the River District site plans. I know the state is also pushing for a Civil Rights museum. Either (plus a cool design) would be great to see here.

Not sure what's happening with the Lasalle Garage.

Superdome was quiet but construction still going on inside for the final phase (another atrium and set of escalators on the other side from the existing new ones).

The removal of the outside ramp is not in the current plans for the Superdome renovation. I think it was a possibility a while back, but they never moved forward. There was also some confusion about the "ramp removal" in the current plans - this was referring to the interior ramps to be replaced with stairwells and escalators/elevators, not the big outside one.

A $535 million upgrade to the Caesars Superdome & still NO addressing the interior ceiling with thousands of missing panels. Renovation after renovation & NO addressing this issue. The interior ceiling looks horrible. I don’t understand it.

Improvements since last Super Bowl

I know it seems like often nothing changes in New Orleans but I was looking at old Google views of the city since last time it hosted a Super Bowl February 2013 and there are huge improvements:
-Upgraded Superdome
-South Market District
-Four Seasons/New Spanish Plaza/renovated Aquarium
-Caesars Casino
-Iberville Projects Redo
-VA and UMC Hospitals completed
-New Airport Terminal
-Completed WWII Museum
-Renovated Saenger
-Lafitte Greenway
-Lots of new and renovated hotels

In regard to the Five-O-Fore site I've seen steady construction over the past few days. I get into the city rather early in the morning and there's at least 50 people working on the structure itself. Looks like they're right on schedule for October 2024.
