Does this mean Okan might take the title of tallest building in Miami/Florida before Waldorf?

It's possible. I'm assuming Waldorf will take longer, however, Okan has a lot going on at the top of the building.

Not sure - probably not. I didn't realize they started on the 550 ft tower first.

Some articles say the 848' tower which broke ground in last fall is scheduled for completion 2028 but that seems pretty long - unless that's for all 3 towers. So it will be a race...

The latest pic I saw for Okan was on linkedin. It shows rebar a floor above the ground so I think they're beginning on the first floor now. This will be a tight race!

Great to hear. I will check it out maybe next week.

I feel like Okan and Waldorf are more complicated builds and will take longer than Baccarat. We'll see.

That pink spider crane is amazing.

If so I hope it's short lived and it gets going soon.

Didn't sales go really well with this one?

Awesome! At least there is a building in-between the inmates in the jail tower and this building. This will be one hell of a dense block.

Man, that area looks like a war zone now. I’m trying to imagine what street level will be like when most buildings are finished and ground floors are leased up.

Hm, hopefully not! I wouldn't write it off as financial problems so quickly. This project has been notorious for randomly stopping so they might be continuing that tradition.

I checked permits, nothing out of the ordinary. Sales have gone reportedly well on this also.

Fingers crossed everything is fine though!

if there is no financial issue, maybe there is a design problem or engineering problem in this project.

how they will finish this never-ending project?

I said sales went really well to my knowledge, not there there's a financial problem.

Seems to be well out of the ground now, hopefully whatever is supposedly holding it back is short lived.
