Thanks for the tour! I've never been to that part of suburban Memphis. I didn't expect Hernando to have such a nice little historic core.

Nice pictures! Hernando looks like a pleasant place.

I was going to fly into Memphis to visit family in western Kentucky 4-5 years ago. They normally use Nashville's airport, but flying into Memphis would've given me the chance to stop in Arkansas and Mississippi, two states I have never been to. I would've walked around Hernando just to get an afternoon in Mississippi in. Some year, I'll probably still end up doing that.

Those awnings and balconies over the public sidewalk looks so weird to me, but I guess it is normal thing in the south.

Yeah Doady, not sure that was the style for a lot Southern cities in 1940s, and 50s. It was to bring the buildings closer to courthouse I believe
