Great pictures. Essex is sexy af and the view south is highly underrated. Hyde Park is the most under appreciated tier one neighborhood in the city. I wish the green line was closer and more inviting. I'd seriously consider living down there.
^Yes it went quick and is being turned over in February, about a month early. The hoist will start to be removed around 11/5. Can't wait to see the full presence at the Michigan Ave street level.
Hyde Park is a great neighborhood and I've considered moving there as well. 53rd and Cornell is great for the neighborhood. It's unfortunate the 400'+ Harper Court residential tower was canceled. That's a nice view of the Kenwood/Hyde Park cluster.
I've heard rumblings that it may be coming back from the grave

^ Those are nice pics and this one turned out very nice with that green glass. Hey just a quick question-in that 1st pic it looks like there's either a road or maybe a busway on the left side of the railroad trench-just wondering what that's about? I remember riding South Shore trains thru that area a few yrs back.

BRT - or Bus Rapid Transit - used by the shuttle buses between the downtown hotels and McCormick.
