Love the last pic, solar. Never seen that vantage point before - what building did you snap the pic from?

Great pictures. Essex is sexy af and the view south is highly underrated. Hyde Park is the most under appreciated tier one neighborhood in the city. I wish the green line was closer and more inviting. I'd seriously consider living down there.

This thing went from initial proposal to construction completion in just about 2 years. Props to the development team for having their shit together.

^Yes it went quick and is being turned over in February, about a month early. The hoist will start to be removed around 11/5. Can't wait to see the full presence at the Michigan Ave street level.

I've heard rumblings that it may be coming back from the grave

The hoist has been completely removed and it looks pretty cool. The hoist bay glass will start tomorrow.

^ Those are nice pics and this one turned out very nice with that green glass. Hey just a quick question-in that 1st pic it looks like there's either a road or maybe a busway on the left side of the railroad trench-just wondering what that's about? I remember riding South Shore trains thru that area a few yrs back.

BRT - or Bus Rapid Transit - used by the shuttle buses between the downtown hotels and McCormick.
