I also find it amazing that with Brightline, a total of 4 train stations are under construction at the same time in the state of Florida (Miami, Ft Laud, West Palm, Orlando). For a state that has prioritized highway construction over mass transit for decades, this is a big deal.

Prahaboheme? Let's also not forget that Florida was created by the expansion of railroads with Henry Flagler & his FEC railroad on the East coast and Henry Plant on the west coast of Florida over a century ago..
Also Sunrail's Phase 3 will connect the Commuter rail line from Sand Lake Rd. to OIA in a couple of years.
Orlando needs some type of LRT also to make both end points functional.
This is a win-win situation for both metros.
