I like how it completely swallows up Wolf Point West from this view.

All of these newer buildings really don't have blue glass though, true? It's clear glass with a reflective coating, that can appear blue when the sky is blue, grey when the sky is grey. When viewed at the base one can see the true appearance. Of course the St. Regis would be an exception, with it's many shades of blue...

This is turning out great, big fan.

Could've been taller but it complements the other WP towers pretty well.

Agreed, I really like the building as well. Though like probably so many, I too wish it was a little more taller to have more of an impact on the skyline when coming in to the city. On occasion when driving downtown to my office on I-55, I find that it blends in more than it stands out which is unfortunate because its such a good looking building. Especially when looking up right at it

Turned out good, could have been great.
Just imagine a tower like New York's 270 Park Ave at this location....

Nice massing and the whole row of blue glass boxes on the river really add a nice density but they are all cookie cutter other than 444 West Lake.

I am hoping they can add a few more interesting buildings west of this row making these buildings a blue canvas that can accent future towers (and not blue).

Great shot! Though it reminds me that the wounds of what 55 E. Erie could have been still run deep.

It just occurred to me that once this and One Chicago are done, which will happen pretty soon, the 805 ft 1000M will be the tallest building rising in Chicago. I find that a little sad.

Here is a simple trick I use: send the images to self via SMS, and the messaging app will automatically reduce the resolution and hence size of the files. Then, upload the received files to Imgur.

Looks really imposing here!
For imgur, add an h just before .jpg and it will be resized to something reasonable.

That adds the 'huge thumbnail.' Definitely a quick way to do it, but I was doing that and felt like that the thumbnail compression was a bit too rough and so started resizing in an external program. I usually pick 1600px width or height depending on landscape or portrait.

Here are all the dimensions and letters to choose from:

s = Small Square (90×90) as seen in the example above
b = Big Square (160×160)
t = Small Thumbnail (160×160)
m = Medium Thumbnail (320×320)
l = Large Thumbnail (640×640) as seen in the example above
h = Huge Thumbnail (1024×1024)
