Yes, reviewing the video I see 552' 6" on the slides dated July 11. The earlier version of the slides, dated June 1, have 542' 6".

In the Q&A it came out that the architect misspoke in saying 542' 6" while showing a slide w/ notation of 552' 6" — he forgot to account for an elevator overrun that had just been added in recent days. The height above grade, including mechanicals, is 552' 6".

The roof is labeled 552 feet. But apparently an elevator overrun will be 10 feet higher, so I guess that means the core will be over the roof

Turns out we were both wrong — total height above grade, counting the elevator overrun, is 552' 6".

My understanding is that the 552' 6" figure includes the elevator overrun.

Yup, 552 feet it is. 542 feet is still confirmed for the parapet

Hmmmmm, I like the June CDR version a bit better, not because it's slightly taller, but the more subtle bands help break up the facade surface, and the band at the top gives a more visual, yet still very subtle, separation of the crown. This is a really nice design regardless of the version, but June is slightly better, IMO.

Outside of New York and Chicago , I don’t see any skyline has a more Iconic skyline like Philly maybe I’m being bias , but where One supertall away from shifting the skyline game , would love to see another super tall in Center City but that probably wouldn’t happen anytime soon

I would like to see more larger buildings (20+ stories) shifting West, South, and North vs. 1 supertall. But yes, Philadelphia has a beautiful skyline, a top 3 or 4 IMO.

Yeah the drop off in density from Spruce to Pine going south and Arch to Cherry going North is pretty crazy. Although the South side seems the craziest to me. You can go from 20 story buildings to 30-40 foot row homes. Seems like from a strategic standpoint expanding North is the way to go. Too much historic fabric, and resulting pushback that would happen, on Pine to push south.

CDR is kind of a mess. These renders don't match updates seen in other renders. Notice the two horizontal bands at the bottom of the cantilever that have (thankfully) been eliminated in the refined design as seen on the street view renders. Also the thinner horizontal breaks on the taller portion come and go depending on what page you're on. Not sure if there was miscommunication or just time crunch and it's ultimately not a big deal. Just something to be aware of if you're looking a details. Sitio has put together a beautiful design and did a great job addressing the problems in the first public iteration.

Things definitely need to push north, but I don't see any problem with pushing south (in a one block radius from Broad) as far as Washington Ave. --certainly South Street at the very least.

I live in Delaware. So when I bring visitors to the city it's usually via 95N. The view from 95 by the stadiums always generates photo clicks from any out of towners that I'm driving in. They love it!
