City of ice and snow

i love skyscrapers like many other on this forum.

And i decided i wanted to make some ice towers in the garden and il put up some pictures of the work so far.

the towers and building are meant to be big model buildings

Im planning to make another tower even higher just to see if that is possible and the temprature in Trondheim Norway is now 20 minus degree celsius so its rather perfect for shaping things in ice.

the names i got on the building are mostly things i come up whit and i hawent tried to copy any real structures yet

how it looked whit only two buildings done

the former commerce centre now turned into King Olav centre

I really like it! Very creative. So are you building a metro or just random buildings?

i think it will be a metro eventually want to do some more small buildings of ice before i try to go higher than twisted tower

just hope the cold will stay 4-6 pluss degrees would be a serious natural disaster

dude keep working at it and as it melts it goes back to nature just as everything we have built will some day but u will be able to rebuild it next year even better and bigger so hah

Thats certainly something you don't see everyday , just one Question how can a flame keep itself lit in those kind of conditions?

Not tottaly shure but it manages to do it and on the first pictures whit the lights it was much warmer than it is now.

But il try to light the biggest tower to soon and now its even colder down to 24 minus degree celsius so now the water is close to freezing as i pour it.

will complete some more Buidings and put up some new pics soon too got a friend helping me now so its easier to build taller.

here is today's update on the progress on the city of ice and snow

As i said i got some help of a friend and then we where able to make the twisted tower become even taller and more beautiful.

and i also Tried some whit cande lights also today but its just to cold to use match sticks and it is blowing abit now will try that later again.

And on the building progress for the rest of the city i hawe made a little building out of ice shards that is mean to be a Atv museum.

And another sky scraper called hanging gardens tower wich looks a little bit like the Tapei 101 not enough height and sections tho but it resembles it abit.

and unfortunately almost all of my water buckets got destroyed by rapid expanding ice last night but i bough new ones and i probably just need too freeze the water in sections in the buckets and not all at once. will try that tonight.

right now im planning on making another really large tower and a stadium and some small ones.

but if it is anything u would like too see in the city of ice and snow please come whit your ideas and il try to build it

zry for not updating recently
im gonna make one more tower today but im afraid that i wont be able to make more buildings in this first city of ice and snow. Because my crazy mom dont like it.

But im moving out soon and then i can make much more ice towers and buildings undisturbed.

So when you move, you have to start all over? Well, this was a great test run then. Or have you done this in previous winters, too?

Hawent done it in previous winters this is the first go

just done now whit the newest and maybe last addition to the city

i am going out at sea for a month again at monday now so wont be able to make more even if i could then and after that it is a lovely holiday in

Dubai

but if it is cold enough after i hawe moved to my new place il try to make another city this winter.

on this wich probably be the last tower i decided to do something tottaly new so i sawed all the bucket shapes in two, and then i put them whit the half circe part inwards.

I also decided to hawe a large flat base at the top where u could hawe a park and host concerts and such hope you like it.

the new tower is called -Tower of Hope-
