Marietta Street from this mornings run. Looks like traffic "haze" is back.

Nice pic. A good portion of that haze is pine pollen.

I don't want to get too far off topic but yes! Pollen has a huge health and economic impact. It's not the highly-visible yellow pine pollen though - that's too big to cause respiratory health problems. Rather, species like oak, birch, and ragweed are big problems in Atlanta. There's a whole industry around it, and highly allergic people have to go in and get shots every week during spring.

Wow, I didn't know that. Makes for beautiful flowers though. Not to trivialize people's health issues....
