A beautiful design, but I highly doubt it makes it past that.

I seriously doubt it gets quarter-way occupied, even if the final height is achieved.

How many are the other magatalls there—and a small majority of its supertalls—are able to support the combined local and international populations?

But yes, the design is magnificent.

I like the crown, but the signage needs to go.

Are they concerned the world's largest pigeons will perch on top of this thing?

Other than the tacky crown, it appears to be a very tall box. Not much of a design.

Jacob & Co. Is Building a Soaring 100-Story Tower in Dubai That Looks Like a Crystal Crown

Abby Montanez
November 9, 2022

Quote:
A new residential tower from Jacob & Co. could soon be the crown jewel of Dubai’s skyline.

This week, the luxury watchmaker and jewelry brand revealed it will be entering the real estate market after signing on to design what it claims will be one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. The company has partnered with leading developer, Binghatti, to construct a 100-story co-branded building in Business Bay, the heart of Dubai’s financial district. Aptly named the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences, the so-called “hypertower” will comprise two and three-bedroom units, in addition to five penthouses named after the watchmaker’s flagship timepieces.
Quote:
The tower will reflect Jacob & Co.’s rich heritage in more ways than one. Specifically, the exterior silhouette will draw from the company’s finely cut gems while diamond-shaped spires at the top of the structure mimic an actual crown. “This is the apex of the luxury narrative in this evocative construction, a signature feature that adds further grandeur to the city’s skyline,” Muhammad said.

The building itself will offer multiple levels dedicated to amenities—everything from a private members club and infinity pool to a luxury spa and gym. Residents will also have access to a dedicated concierge team that can arrange for private chefs, a chauffeur or even a bodyguard for added security.

Of the entry-level residences, two-bedroom units will be available under The Sapphire Suite Collection, while The Emerald Suite Collection will comprise three-bedroom units. And if you’re interested in those penthouses, you’ll have three to choose from: Fleurs De Jardin, Astronomia and Billionaire. “As suggested by the name, the Billionaire Penthouse is the hypertower’s jewel in the crown,” Jacob & Co. chairman Jacob Arab said in the statement.

The biggest perk? Buy a condo in the new tower and you can shop Jacob & Co.’s selection of exclusively curated timepieces and limited-edition jewelry pieces—as a preferred customer.

The tallest residential tower in Dubai, Burj Binghatti breaks ground
The hypertower is set to beat out the Princess Tower as the tallest residential building in the city

by Julianne Tolentino
November 15, 2022

Quote:
Dubai-based developer, Binghatti Properties has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its latest flagship project, the Burj Binghatti towers.

The ceremony was attended by Jacob Arabo, chairman of jewellery company Jacob & Co to mark the beginning of construction for the iconic project. According to Muhammed Binghatti, CEO at Binghatti Holding, the tower is a “history in the making within the architectural and design sphere.”

To be located at the heart of Dubai’s most eminent financial district, Business Bay, the tower comprises over 100 storeys made of lavish two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences.

Although the final height of Burj Binghatti has not been disclosed yet, we know that New York’s Central Park Tower – the structure that currently holds the title – is 472.4m high.

Currently, the tallest residential tower in Dubai, the Princess Tower, stands at 393m.

To set the record, roof height doesn't even need to be as tall as CPT with that parapet (Inspired by the Steinway tower, no doubt)

If this diagram is accurate, it's looking like this will be close to 700 meters. Photos from the unveiling:

Dubai's 'Hypertower' Is The Tallest In The World

R. Peña
November 29, 2022

Quote:
What do you get when you combine one of the most creative architects in the world with one of the most innovative jewelers of our generation? Apparently, the tallest residential building in the world. Nicknamed Dubai’s “Hypertower”, already stands taller than New York City’s Central Park Tower, which is 98 stories and close to 1,550 feet high.

The Hypertower is the brainchild of real estate developer Burj Binghatti and famous jeweler Jacob Arabo also known to hip-hop aficionados as “Jacob Da Jeweler.” Head of architecture for Binghatti, Muhammad Binghatti stated the collaboration was a pursuit of elegance. “Both our brands are born from the sheer desire to achieve what breaks boundaries,” Mr. Binghatti said.

The residences will be made up of two collections. The sapphire Suite Collection will be two-bedroom units and the Emerald Suite Collection will consist of three-bedroom units. At the top of the Hypertower, there will be five of the most luxurious penthouses. The building also features a private club with an infinity pool.

Inquiries to move into the Hypertower have already begun. Potential tenants must undergo a prequalification process to live in the lavish dwelling. Although the project isn’t completed, there is a heavy demand for luxury living in Dubai’s real estate market.

the SLS Dubai building included in the renderings is a supertall itself, 1100 feet as a matter of fact. So if the scale is not exaggerated this is going to be very tall.

^ I don't know about the renderings but that diagram is not even close to accurate. It's so bad I wonder if that was intentional.
