I'm always excited when transit meets skyscrapers, and we've definitely been getting a lot of that.

From Monday's CB5 meeting.....

It's a heinous crime that the garbage on the north corner of this block is not included in this project. That's one of the few disgusting buildings on Madison.

This demo permit is Over a year old, but it’s still a beautiful sight.

They’ve already begun. Same at 343.

The design is okay. What's most exciting to me about this tower is the subway connection.

^ I agree with that. Im a sucker anytime a cramped sidewalk stair gets moved into the base of a new building (which doesnt happen enough in this town) but in particular I'm really excited about all these new auxillary entrances into GCT.

I actually like the design a lot. Like a sleeker, sexier 432 Park.

Between this and JPMC, this is going to be a REALLY nice stretch of Madison.

250,000 square feet is not a lot, and this will fill very quickly.

I do wonder, just like at 343 Madison, if they are building on spec.

I wonder if 250k sf is a misprint. I thought that this would be around 800k.

Most likely on spec, as they are also building out the MTA's LIRR entrance.

It really isn't that large of a building, but it's an incremental increase in an area that is starving for new office space.
