Well that was an incredibly fun evening with pre-ICE, game, high fiving half of the city and then sitting at the Rocky Mountain Ice House for an hour or more taking it all in with thousands walking and driving by; brought me back to 06'.

Curious to see what OEG/COE does for the round two viewing parties.

I worked on the last plan which had 104st between 103-104 having a big screen (think Mercer st. party) with another option east of Community rink on the parking lot.

They most definitely need more capacity and better logistics as there were not enough portas, food or bartenders.

Interesting BOA Fact - the Oilers actually own the trademark to the phrase "Battle of Alberta" dating to March 2000

Oilers getting clobbered by the flames so far.
The flames look bigger, stronger, faster, and more coordinated

McDavid talked about the 9-5 regular season game being a gong show - this one was a shit show.

A total embarrassment by the Oilers and no Battle of Alberta here.

Oilers players were lost and need to get their heads out of their butts for game 2 or this series is a sweep.

Seriously? Your head is in the sand despite that you know the Team changed its name and with public support. There is nothing "woke" here - no boogeyman exists - just thinking Canadians. Pull your head out of the sand!

Well that was fun! We must find a way to get out of the gate differently, but what a team effort last night and McDavid WANTS IT!

Let's GO!

I wish my Dad was alive as he would of loved to go see the Riverhawks. I hope people go out to the ball park as it looks like fun.

Just curious, I realize the bulk of the players are playing ball between playing for their University Team. Do they get paid? I thought it was against the NCAA rules for student athletes to get paid for playing their sport. Or do they not get paid? Just room and board and an opportunity to play during the summer?

Glad to see the double EE back on the helmets. I like the look. Curious to see how the team does as well as getting fans back in the stands. So far, I like the direction the team is taking under the new CEO.

Go Oilers and Oil Kings! Busy week ahead for Rogers.
