Always thought The Atlantic and its Art Deco style is one of the best looking residential towers, especially at street level. Remember the curfuffle over the crown hight?

Absolutely beautiful building! I just hope the that the temporary shed gym next door is quickly replaced by something nicer and more permanent to complement the otherwise great architecture along this stretch of 17th Street.

I agree completely. The Atlantic is architecturally a very well done residential tower.

Spiffed up and (finally) ready for business Atlantic Yards. Is it really worth $900 a sq ft?

Time to get (back) to the office Microsoft. Hard to see some of the most valuable office space sitting vacant.

They should convert it in to apartments and condos.

Another interesting thing. The T3 building is getting (some of) the facade changed for the 3ed time and still only one floor rented.

A friend of mine works for a company that got bought my Microsoft last year and he keeps talking about how they're expecting him to come into an office a couple days a week.

These latest renderings look a bit better. It has been 5-6 years since we've first heard about this so hopefully they really do get started this year.

Agreed. Or they could keep it white if they embraced the art deco leanings with curved edges.

Looks like Atlantic Yards sold this past week. Wonder if they got the crazy high price? Hope so and gives hope to junking that ugly "ballon" building and filling in the 2 spots on 17th ST.
