Is it just me or do renderings of Parcel I make the stretch of buildings on Wacker from Vista to Parcel I look really chaotic and messy? The renderings make me want Parcel I to look a little simpler, or clean cut (at least with the bottom half of the building).

Take a boat on the lake sometime. I was rounding the breakwater with my crew, and our jaws dropped seeing Vista through the haze with the sunset just behind it. Nearly crashed into the rocks.

I retract my previous statement on the glass, from far away it looks amazing but from up close it could be better.

That picture is such a tease, if all those buildings go through at their planned height Chicago could be heading back to the top 5 globally.

I was within a few blocks on Sunday and I told my wife it was the best glass I'd ever seen on a building. It looked as good as the best photo on here and better than any render. I don't know what it's like standing under it, but the color transition, the lack of contrasting seams and the combination of transparency which still seeming a uniform exterior--it's striking.

As for the proposed developments, the one I want to most see, and the one I'm most worried about, is the Tribune addition. All the other sites will get quality buildings relatively soon, even if the current plans don't come to fruition this cycle.

This photo is too good to be lost in the previous page. A new peak in the skyline!
...it almost makes up for the loss of the Spire !

Another awesome shot from Reddit:

Looks so skinny from this angle. My favorite direction to view it from is WNW where it looks like the middle section is zig zagging Because of how the frustums alternate.

Nice set, Bonobo. That's an awesome crash course in architectural styles and history.
