I'm not sure what to think of it from an aesthetic standpoint. I rather liked the heavy façade of the old Bulletin building, but I'm not sure if continuing the curtain wall around the sides while keeping the curving corners intact would have necessarily worked either . . . Perhaps the root problem lies in the flatness of the thing, that had the curtain wall been recessed and the masonry curve allowed to extend into the recess (which then could have been replicated on all four sides) would yield a much more aesthetically pleasing building.
