Hopefully a rail trestle qualifies as a bridge.

This is the Salmon River trestle, on the CNR mainline in northwestern NB, near Grand Falls. At 4600 ft in length and 200 ft in height, it is both the highest and longest rail trestle in all of eastern Canada.

I took this photo today. Happily just as we arrived at the trestle, a CNR freight train bound for Moncton and Halifax happened to be passing over it.

Beautiful image MonctonRad. Railway trestle bridges are really something else.

The Highline in Edmonton looks great as well, a real solid piece of work it looks to be.

A pretty mundane bridge in the grand scheme of things, but still a huge improvements to Ottawa's pedestrian and bike network, this new bridge was installed next to the Trillium Line 2's Rideau River Bridge between Carleton University and Mooney's Bay Station (between Carleton University and Vincent Massey Park, for those not taking the train).

Unfortunately, it won't open until the rail line re-opens in Fall 2023.

I love railroad trestles.
Lethbridge Viaduct:

The old wooden ones were even more striking.

T-Dot really does ‘little bridges’ well.

Some early pics of the new arch bridge (120 metres clear-span) where the new Ontario Line crosses the Don River.

Not as pretty as the *Humber Bay pedestrian arch bridge, but carrying a much bigger load.

Apparently the new Cherry St. bridge was made in Dartmouth NS and shipped via the seaway. So while I didn't have anything to do with it personally, I still take partial credit.

LOL.

You also have share credit with the Amsterdam bridge fabricators who bent all the steel and shipped them to Dartmouth for final assembly and paint.

In total, these beauties have travelled 6000 km to get to their home.

The scale is truly massive. It'll be the largest cable-stay bridge on the continent when completed. The towers will be the same height as Telus Sky in Calgary and the Ren Cen in Detroit. It's the 11th tallest structure getting built in Canada today.
