I was here the other day and noticed they took the Stalworth rigs off the site. Not sure what that's about.

Any thoughts on what the list of names on the banner is about? Rush Limbaugh and Rosa Parks? Frank Zappa and Jesus Christ?

I think it is safe to assume they have been stalled in getting their foundation permit.

One more empty lot bites the dust!

At this point, Streeterville is almost completely built out, outside of a few exceptions. The Spire site, the Tribune site, and a few parking empty lots Along Fairbanks/Columbus are really the last big offenders.

Does Northwestern have plans for the block bounded by Huron, McClurg, Erie, and Fairbanks? It really bugs me. I’m pretty sure it’s part of their future plans, but can’t remember any specifics…

^ Landbanking it. I don't think there's anything specific planned as of now.

Henegan still on site but Skender put up their signage recently. Looks like this may roll right into construction as others have pointed out that they already have permits.

I love this photo. It really gives a good ideas as to just how big the bucket is on the excavator.

And contrary to many on here, I like the RUI and I think the average person will find it to be elegant both outside, especially at street level, and inside. I know I will.

The top seems a bit out of proportion but it reminds me of the top of the Chicago Hilton and Towers. Another building that I like. :-)

They were also pouring concrete here late in the afternoon. Looking forward to things gearing up next week.

There are several errors in that article, the data center is in South Loop, the medical building is in Bronzeville, and that's not a rendering of 301 S. Green. That rendering is for a highrise in Arlington, Virginia (slide #16): https://www.chicago.gov/content/dam/...ion_041322.pdf
